Board of Education alternative number two dated December.21, 1972 by <br />such means as they deem expedient and wise and to report the results <br />to the Board of Commissioners on or before the meeting to be held on <br />Monday, January 15, 1973. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker requested that the minutes <br />reflect that he has confidence in both Boards of Education that they <br />have both made diligent efforts and that he appreciates their efforts <br />toward reaching agreement on merging the school system. Commissioner <br />Rogers stated that even if merged, it would not constitute a' large <br />school system. <br />Commissioner Hancock directed query with respect to employment <br />for a truck driver for the collection vehicle and was advised that he <br />and Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker were appointed to select and hire <br />such a driver. <br />Commissioner Hancock made an observation that we would need <br />additional equipment in the nature of a trench digger for future <br />operations at the sanitary landfill. <br />Commissioner Rogers moved that the meeting be adjourned, <br />Commissioner Cooper seconded the motion and upon vote it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />GORDON A.
