My 4 Gt ?64 <br />in the amount of $987. Commissioner Rogers moved that the low <br />bid be approved and that the statement of Center Heating & Air- <br />Conditioning Company in the amount of $987 be approved for payment <br />from Revenue Sharing Funds. Commissioner Hancock seconded the <br />motion. Upon a roll call vote, Messrs. Cooper, Hancock, Rogers, <br />F. Wicker, and G. Wicker all voted for the motion and no one <br />voted against it. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker reported that the <br />County's.request for use of the Seaboard Coastline Railroad <br />Passenger Depot was :being studied by the railroad authorities <br />who stated they would report back at a later time. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker brought up for <br />discussion some proposed bid specifications for air-conditioning <br />the fifth (5th) floor of the County Office Building. After <br />discussion, Commissioner Cooper moved that the Board hire the <br />engineering firm of Pate & Mullins to prepare plans and <br />specifications for the heating and air-conditioning of the <br />fifth (5th) floor of the County Office Building. Commissioner <br />Rogers seconded the motion. Upon a roll call vote, Messrs. <br />Cooper, Hancock, Rogers, and G. Wicker voted for the motion; <br />and Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker voted against it. The <br />Chairman declared the motion adopted by a majority vote. <br />At 7:30 o'clock P.M., the Chairman declared that the <br />time for receiving bids for a sub-compact station wagon for use <br />by the Library Board had expired. The bids received were opened <br />and the low bid was the bid of the Sanford Toyota Company for a <br />1973 Toyota sub-compact station wagon at the total price of <br />$3,366.98. After discussion with Mr. White, a member of the <br />Library Board who stated that this type vehicle was acceptable <br />to the Library Board and the bid was within the budgetary <br />allocation, Commissioner Cooper moved that the bid be accepted. <br />Commissioner Hancock seconded the motion.
