Wicker seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote, it was unanimously adopted,as follows: Messrs..Cooper, <br />Hancock, Rogers, Franklin Wicker, and Gordon Wicker all voted for <br />it and no one voted against it. <br />The written report of Mr. Tom Haislip' Agricultural <br />Extension Chairman, was presented-to the Board. <br />The written report of-Mr. Nathan Crissman for,his <br />collections during the month of August was presented to the Board. <br />Commissioner'Franklin D. Wicker moved that the County, <br />affiliate with the Health Planning Council for Central North <br />Carolina as its comprehensive;health planning'agency,' said <br />affiliation to be effective as of.October 1, 1973• Commissioner <br />Hal L. Hancock seconded the motion and upona.vote, it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next took up 'for consideration the <br />classification of Sheriff D. F.. Holder.. Commissioner'Hal L. <br />Hancock moved that Sheriff D. F. Holder be classified as being <br />in Salary Grade 66, Step No. 6,"or a total 'salary 'of $11;916.00 <br />and that the sum of $540.00',be appropriated from the. <br />.'Unappropriated Surplus in-the General Fund to the Sheriff's <br />Department Fund for this purpose..,, Commissioner J.
