Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted,as follows: Messrs..Cooper, Hancock, Rogers, Franklin Wicker, and Gordon Wicker all voted for it and no one voted against it. The written report of Mr. Tom Haislip' Agricultural Extension Chairman, was presented-to the Board. The written report of-Mr. Nathan Crissman for,his collections during the month of August was presented to the Board. Commissioner'Franklin D. Wicker moved that the County, affiliate with the Health Planning Council for Central North Carolina as its comprehensive;health planning'agency,' said affiliation to be effective as of.October 1, 1973• Commissioner Hal L. Hancock seconded the motion and upona.vote, it was unanimously adopted. The Board next took up 'for consideration the classification of Sheriff D. F.. Holder.. Commissioner'Hal L. Hancock moved that Sheriff D. F. Holder be classified as being in Salary Grade 66, Step No. 6,"or a total 'salary 'of $11;916.00 and that the sum of $540.00',be appropriated from the. .'Unappropriated Surplus in-the General Fund to the Sheriff's Department Fund for this purpose..,, Commissioner J.
