source to the Mental Health Department in accordance with the <br />statute and that said sums be paid monthly as:received. <br />Commissioner Franklin D.•Wicker'seconded the.'motion and upon a <br />vote; it was•unanimously adopted.. <br />Commissioner J., Eugene Rogers introduced the following <br />resolution, which was read: <br />"BEFIT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of <br />the County of Lee.: . <br />(1) That the contract between the County of Lee <br />and the North Carolina Department of Natural and. <br />Economic'Resources be and the same is hereby approved. <br />(2) That the Chairman and the Clerk be and they <br />are hereby authorized to sign and execute the said <br />contract for and on behalf of the County of Lee-and <br />forward the same to the North Carolina Dep,artment of, <br />Natural and Economic.Resources. <br />.(3) That upon, final execution a copy'of the said <br />contract be filed with the minutes." <br />Upon motion of Commissioner J. Eugene Rogers, seconded by <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper, said resolution was unanimously <br />passed. <br />Commissioner J.• Eugene Rogers,moved that the. sum of <br />$3,300.`00 be appropriated:from-theEMergency-and,Cont;ingency, Fund <br />for the purpose of paying the County's obligation under the <br />contract with the Department of,Natur,al,and'Lconomic Resources <br />for the planning work. Commissioner William H. Cooper seconded <br />it, and upon a roll call vote, it was unanimously adopted as <br />follows: Messrs. Cooper., Hancock, Rogers, Franklin Wicker, and <br />Gordon Clicker all voted'for it and no one voted against it. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper moved that the <br />Northwestern Bank, Sanford Branch, be approved `as a depository <br />for County funds. 'Commissioner Hal L. Hancock'seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously, adopted.- <br />. Commissioner Rogers moved that the monthly.bills as <br />tabulated by the County;Finance Officer be approved for payment. <br />Commissioner.
