` t <br />City of Sanford as lead agent for a 201-facilities plan study. <br />Commissioner Cooper moved 'that the. Chairman and Clerk be <br />authorized to execute a.memorandum,of participation with the <br />City of Sanford and Town of Broadway designating the City of <br />Sanford as lead agent for a 201 Facilities Plan Study for a <br />regional sanitary sewerage facility with the local share of <br />costs to be borne pro-rata. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker <br />seconded the motion. Upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />The following bills were approved for payment <br />from Revenue Sharing Funds upon motion of Commissioner Cooper, <br />seconded by Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, and unanimously <br />adopted upon a vote: <br />Burroughs Corporation <br />172.63 <br />W. M. Nixon <br />195.00 <br />King Roofing & Manufacturing Co. <br />134.66 <br />Gallup's Hardware Co. <br />12.25 <br />Coleman Envelope & Printing Co. <br />230.72 <br />Garner W. Sizemore <br />158.60 <br />Colonial Motor Freight Line, Inc. <br />5.00 <br />The Sherwin-Williams Co. <br />81.75 <br />Lee Paving Co. <br />4,626.35 <br />TOTAL $52616.96 <br />Commissioner Hancock reported the Landfill Committee <br />would employ casual labor to supplement the trash collection <br />force during the holidays. <br />Commissioner Franklin D..Wicker moved that the <br />Board oppose any change in the inventory tax and that legislators <br />from this area be advised of its position. Commissioner <br />Rogers seconded•the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />Mr. Hal Siler, Executive Secretary of the Sanford <br />Chamber of Commerce, appeared before the Board and advised <br />that the brochure about Lee County which is distributed <br />through his office needed to be reprinted. Commissioner Rogers <br />moved that $13700 be appropriated from the Unappropriated <br />Surplus in the General Fund.for the printing of brochures-' <br />-2 <br />~ r. + { <br />• i <br />
