Commissioner William H. Cooper moved the adoption of the following resolution with respect to the streets (Harvard, Dean; Brenda, and'Dewayne Streets) in the Lemon Springs Road Subdivision: WHEREAS, the attached petition has been.filed with the:Board of.County Commissioners.of the County of Lee requesting that the above described road, the-:location of which has been'indicated in red on the attached map, be added to the Secondary .Road system; and WHEREAS,, the Board of County Commissioners is of-the.opinion that the above described road should be 'added to.the Secondary Road System', if the road 'meets.minimum standards and'criteria established by: the Division of Highways of the Department of Transportation and Highway Safety for the addition of roads to the System. NOW, THEREFORE, be it of County Commissioners of the Division.of Highways is review. the above described road for maintenance fit standards 'and"criteria. resolved by the: Board, the County.of.Lee that hereby requested to road,.and to take over the meets. established Commissioner Rogers seconded the motion-and upon a vote., it was unanimously' adopted. Mrs. Virginia.Sargent of the Region J Council of Governments appeared before the 'Board and discussed the program of nutrition service to be made available to elderly people in Lee County. At the present time, it appears that . an office will be 'maintained in the' Matthews. Court Housing area and that the'meals'will be prepared by the'Pineridge Nursing Home. The minutes of the 'regulars meeting, held on ; v December 17, 1973, we're approved and ordered recorded upon motion of Commissioner Cooper, seconded by'Commissioner.• Hancock 'which motion was unanimously,adopted. The' monthly bills as tabulated by the`Finance Officer were presented to the Board and reviewed. Upon motion of Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Rogers, the bills. were approved for payment. -2-
