<br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING..THE FILING OF AN'APPtICATION:OF'
<br />WHEREAS, the Land and Water.Conservation Fund'Act
<br />of 1965 provides for the 'making of grants..by. the
<br />.Bureau of.Outdoor Recreation, Department of Interior
<br />of`the' United States Government to States. 'and to local
<br />municipalities:.in=support of 0utdoor..Recreation
<br />projects 'and such,`funds"'are' available `after. approval'
<br />of the appropriate State: Agency and the.Bureau of
<br />Outdoor Recreation; and
<br />-WHEREAS, the.County of-Lee. 'proposes to build a
<br />park, known as the "Buchanan's,-Park.." This park will.
<br />have facilities when completed,for,family-picnic area,
<br />multi-purpose field, Tot-lot,.tennis 'courts,' shelter,
<br />flag pole and trails. 'Support. 'development includes
<br />site.improvemerit, lands caping,`,fe'rfcing,. sewer. system,
<br />comfort stations, equipment, parking-area, electrical
<br />system, water system.. Design, engineering and
<br />construction fee."included; and
<br />.WHEREAS, the State is required to insure that
<br />there will be. no discrimination against any-,person on
<br />the basis of resi'dence', except to. the extent that
<br />reasonable' differences in admission.or other.fee's
<br />may. be maintained on the basis of res'i'dence,
