WHEREAS, the 1973-1974 Lee County. budget <br />adopted by the County Commissioners on July 2, 1973, <br />included an appropriation of $400, 000 to the Schools <br />Capital Outlay Reserve Fund to be funded by estimated <br />revenue from the 1% local sales tax and <br />WHEREAS, it is now ascertained that it would be <br />financially better for Lee County to' fund said appropriation - <br />with Federal Revenue Sharing revenue. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 1:973-1974 <br />Lee County Budget be amended by showing 'that the $400, 000. <br />appropriation to the Schools Capital Outlay Reserve Fund is <br />funded by.Federal Revenue Sharing fund, and that-the esti- <br />mated revenue from the 1% local sales tax is unappropriated <br />funds in the general fund. <br />Commissioner Roger's seconded the motion and upon a roll call <br />vote, Messrs. Cooper, Hancock, Rogers, F. Wicker and G. Wicker all <br />voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />. The Board again considered the matters of the repairs to the <br />Armory building, and Commissioner Rogers was authorized to see that the <br />roof and walls of the building were repaired in the most economical manner. <br />Chai rman 'Gordon Wicker, Commissioner William H. Cooper and <br />County Finance Officer, Mrs. Beatrice Fields, were appointed as a committee <br />to see that a suitable ad was prepared on behalf of the County Government to' <br />be published in the Centennial Issue of the Sanford Daily Herald. . <br />Chairman Gordon Wicker requested that a list of appointees and their <br />terms of 'office be furnished to the members of the Board. <br />Commissioner William H.
