. 0, <br />Moo 8I-,nr;'52 <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the Administrators and the Faculty of the Sanford- <br />Lee County School System have rendered faithful and conscientious service to <br />the students of the School System and through them to all Citizens of Lee County <br />throughout this school year and in years past; and <br />WHEREAS, their interest in the students of the Sanford-Lee County <br />School System, and indeed in all the Citizens of Lee County has reflected the <br />highest devotion to duty and to the principles of the teaching profession; and <br />WHEREAS, the highest standards of instruction, conduct and ideals <br />have been exemplified by die said Administrators and Faculty of our School System; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />to officially express their appreciation for such splendid services rendered, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />That the Lee County Board of Commissioners do hereby <br />express their deep appreciation to the Administrators and Faculty of the Sanford- <br />Lee County School System, <br />2. . That 'T.uesday', May 14, 1974, be and the same is hereby <br />officially declared to be "Teacher Appreciation Day" in the County of Lee. <br />3. That this Resolution be made a part of the official Minutes of <br />the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee and that copies thereof be forwarded <br />to the Superintendent of die Sanford-Lec County School System and to the news media. <br />This 6th day of May, 1974. <br />Chairman <br />Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />The foregoing Resolution was unanimously adopted at the regular <br />meeting of the Board of Commissioners of ]see.
