Cooper moved that the sum.of $:138,126.50 be. <br />appropriated from the Commissioner's School Capital Reserve <br />Fund and allocated to the School Capital Outlay Budget for <br />the purpose of purchasing the additional acreage adjoining <br />the site of the present Sanford Central High School. <br />Commissioner J. Eugene Rogers seconded the motion. On a <br />roll call vote, Messrs. Cooper, Hancock, Rogers, F. Wicker, <br />and G. Wicker all voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper left the meeting <br />and did not participate in the further deliberations of the <br />Board. <br />Representatives of P.ate.& Mullins & Associates, <br />Architects, appeared before the Board and outlined their <br />recommendations for repairs at the armory. Following <br />discussion of the architect's recommendations, the Board <br />authorized the preparations of specifications and authorized <br />the taking of bids upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. <br />Wicker seconded by Commissioner Hal L. Hancock which motion <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner J. Eugene Rogers moved that the meeting <br />be adjourned until:7.:30 o'clock p.m. on Monday, June 24, 1974, <br />in the Commissioner's Room on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building for the purpose of conducting a public <br />hearing on the budget and such other business as may come <br />before the session. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The <br />meeting adjourned in accordance with the resolution. <br />-7 GORDON A.
