s } fgW~, <br />z' . . <br />taken under consideration by the Board. <br />Mr. Boyd Douglas, proprietor _of Dreamland Mobile Home Park, <br />also appeared before the Board and complained of the loud noise made by the <br />operation of the motorcycles on the raceway. The Chairman requested Commissioner: <br />Hal L. Hancock and William H. Cooper to look into the matter and report their <br />findings to the Board for its consideration. <br />The firm of Pate Mullins appeared before the Board to discuss the <br />condition of the so it in the area where the addition to the maintenance building is <br />being constructed. Upon motion of Commissioner William H. Cooper, seconded <br />by Commissioner Hal L. Hancock, it was unanimously resolved to authorize the <br />architects to have installed such piers or pilings as they find necessary for the <br />support of the addition to the maintenance building and the expense incurred is to <br />be paid from the funds derived from revenue sharing appropriations. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner William. H. Cooper, seconded by <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer, it was unanimously resolved to authorize the <br />firm of Pate Mullins to prepare a topographic survey of the County landfill <br />site and not to purchase any adjoining land until the survey had been completed. <br />The letter of Mr. J. B. Clark, Vice President, Operating Department <br />of Seaboard Coast Line Railroad to the County Attorney, dated November 19, 1974, <br />pertaining to the lease of the former passenger station building in Sanford to the <br />County as an activity center for senior citizens was read to the Board. <br />Upon motion.of Commissioner William H. Cooper, seconded by <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer, it was unanimously resolved to appoint K. R. <br />Hoyle as County Attorney and Clerk to the Board. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hal L. Hancock, it was unanimously resolved to appoint Mrs. <br />Beatrice C. Fields as the County Finance Officer. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Hal L. Hancock, seconded by <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper, it was unanimously resolved to appoint Nathan <br />Crissman as the Tax Collector for Lee County. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, duly seconded <br />by Commissioner William H. Cooper, it was unanimously resolved to appoint <br />A. B. Harrington, 111, as a Special County Attorney for Social Service matters. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner John E. Dotterer, seconded by, <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper, it was unanimously resolved to appoint Mr. <br />Jimmy L. Love as the Tax Attorney for Lee County. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hal L. Hancock, it was unanimously resolved to appoint Commissioner <br />William H. Cooper as a member of the Recreation Commission. <br />The Chairman, after a consultation with the members'of the board', <br />announced the following appointments: <br />Activity <br />Fire <br />Road <br />Landfill operations <br />Ambulance Service <br />Sheriffrs Department <br />Commissioner <br />Hal L.
