LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />OF RECOGNITION <br />WHEREAS, Donna Cummings began employment with the Lee County Department of <br />Social Services on May 16, 1989, as an Income Maintenance Supervisory I in the <br />Food Stamp Unit; and <br />WHEREAS, Donna Cummings came to Lee County Government from Harnett County <br />Government; and <br />WHEREAS, Donna Cummings moved up through the ranks and was appointed <br />Income Maintenance Supervisor III in the Child Support Unit in October 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, Donna Cummings has demonstrated a deep commitment to her job and <br />to the citizens of Lee County; and <br />• WHEREAS, Donna Cummings will retire on December 1, 2009, with 30 years and 6 <br />months of total service; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners to recognize <br />the achievements of Donna Cummings and to express its appreciation to her for her <br />dedicated service and contribution to Lee County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee <br />County that it congratulates Donna Cummings for a career of public service, which <br />has been characterized by a genuine interest in, and concern for Lee County and it <br />wishes Donna Cummings continued success in all of her future endeavors. <br />Adopted and presented this 2nd day of November 2009. <br />John A.
