Steele Street, Sanford; <br />• Dr. David Fisher, 1630 Crepe Myrtle Drive, Sanford, <br />• Steve Womack, 1910 Plantation Drive, Sanford; <br />• Tom Dossenbah, 1805 Crepe Myrtle Drive, Sanford, <br />• Mike Womble, and <br />• Bob Joyce, 2003 Vantage Point, Sanford (representing the Chamber of Commerce) <br />Commissioner Jamie Kelly moved that the Lee County Board of Commissioners move forward <br />with the project as presented by Mr. Jimmy Hite and guarantee funding up to $19.5 million for the <br />project. <br />Commissioner Shook stated she could not vote for the motion not knowing the outcome of the <br />November 3rd 1/4-cent tax referendum. <br />Commissioner Reives stated that if the 1/4-cent sales tax passes on November 3`d it should be <br />split 1/3 for the Lee County Schools, 1/3 for Central Carolina Community College (CCCC), and 1/3 to <br />the County's General Fund. <br />Upon a vote of Commissioner Kelly's motion, the results were as foiiows: <br />`F . <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Hayes, Kelly, Oldham, and Paschal <br />Nay: Reives and Shook <br />e The Chairman ruled the motion had been addpted by a five to two vote. <br />With no further business to comb;befgre the two Boards, Commissioner Kelly moved to adjourn <br />the joint meeting on behalf of the Board ofaCommissioners. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Hayes, Kelly;-.;Oldham, Paschal, Reives, and Shook <br />Nay: None.' <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting adjourned at <br />7:15 p.m. <br />Richard B.
