004 <br />Bob Heuts and their Chairman could be at the Commissioners' next meeting and give a report on how <br />• many businesses are looking at Lee County at his time. The consensus of the Board was that reports <br />should be given quarterly (or monthly) by the EDC. Discussion followed but no action was taken. <br />County Manager John Crumpton presented a power-point presentation on the State of Lee <br />County report and responded to questions from the Board. <br />Commissioner Reives stated if the % cent sales tax passes on the November referendum he <br />wanted to go on record that he thinks it should have been split 1/3 for the Lee County Schools, 1/3 for <br />Central Carolina Community College (CCCC), and 1/3 to the County's General Fund. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Dalrymple moved to adjourn <br />the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Hayes, Kelly, Oldham, Paschal, Reives, and Shook <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting adjourned at <br />4:20 p.m. <br />k <br />Richard B.
