Representatives of the Soil and Water Conservation Service and the <br />President of the Student Council from Sanford Central High School appealed. <br />before the Board concerning a drainage problem on the campus of Sanford Central <br />High School. The Board heard the representatives but took no action since it <br />was a matter over which the Board of Education has jurisdiction. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the following <br />Resolution: <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County, <br />that Lee County wishes to be a part of the Raleigh-Wake Manpower <br />i Consortium for Manpower Programs under the Comprehensive and <br />Employment Training Act (CETA) 1973 for the fiscal year 1976. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper seconded the Motion and upon a <br />vote.. it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mrs. W. H. Turner appeared before the Board and asked about a noise <br />control ordinance and a mobile home ordinance. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker moved to allow the transfer of <br />$1, 200. 00 from State/County General Assistance Category to Administration <br />Category to enable Department of Social Services to employ two Social Service <br />Aides to perform Chore services for -recipients needing that service. Commissioner <br />William H. Cooper seconded the Motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />r <br />ORDON A..
