The Chairman reported the. Council on Aging had requested a , letter 'of intent relating to the funding which would be provided for the coming fiscal year. The proposed letter was presented and discussed. Upon motion of Commissioner Dotterer, seconded by'Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, ' and unanimously adopted, it was resolved to authorize the Chairman to sign the ' letter on behalf of the Board. Commissioner William H. Cooper moved that the-sum of $1, 100. 00 be appropriated from funds from Revenue Sharing to the Maintenance Building Fund for the purpose of paying for the heating, system. Commissioner Hal L. Hancock seconded the-motion and upon a roll call vote, 'Messrs. Cooper, Dotterer, Hancock, F. Wicker, and G. Wicker all voted for it and no one voted against it. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker moved that $1, 932. 00 be appropriated from the Unappropriated surplus in the General Fund to'•the.Budget for the Finance Officer to provide $500. 00 for printing and'$l, 432. 00-'for salaries and wages to employ a clerk through June. Mr. Darrell Mullins, of the firm of Pate:Mullins & Associates, P. A•, appeared before the Board to open ;bids for a heating and air-conditioning system at the Senior Citizens Service Center. Cooper moved that the low bid of Coggin Heating and Air-Conditioning be accepted and the contract'be awarded to it. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion, and upon-a vote, the motion was unanimously, adopted. Mr. Darrell Mullins also reported to the Board that roofing tile was available to repair the roof-at th'e Senior Citizens" Service Center. Chairman Gordon A. Wicker,brought up for discussion the following matters: (a) Massage parlors. It was decided -to ask the County Attorney to draft an ordinance for the.Board's consideration. (b) Faith Healers-. It was decided to refer complaints in this area to the members-of,the General Assembly since they have already passed legislation relating to this matter. (c) , Noise Ordinance. It was decided to have the County Attorney to put the draft ordinance previously circulated to the Board in final form for consideration at the next meeting. _ Commissioner'John E Dotiterer stated the Board should proceed to select and employ a• building inspector in order to implement the ordinance beginning July, 1, 1975'.: . 2-
