There being no further discus sion,or'inquiries concerning
<br />the, public hearing, it was closed, upon motion of Commissioner Dotterer,
<br />seconded by Commissioner Cooper, which motion was unanimously adopted.
<br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker moved that- Ln,the-
<br />preparation of the budget, -the' County Finance Officer provide fora line
<br />item budget on the appropriation for schools and further, that no school
<br />personnel shall receive a supplement of 3% of the base salary set out or
<br />provided bythe State. There was no second to the motion and the chair
<br />ruled that it• failed for lack of a second,
<br />The Board next considered the Personnel Plan and:the salaries
<br />provided for County Employees. Commissioner Hal L. Hancock moved that all
<br />County Employees other than those in public Health and Mental Health Departments
<br />and other than already in Step 6, who have completed five years service as of
<br />June 30,- 1975, be advanced one step in the same grade. Commissioner William-
<br />H, Cooper seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
<br />Upon motion'made by Commissioner John E. Dotterer, seconded
<br />by Commissioner'Franklin D. Wicker, and unanimously adopted, it was
<br />.resolved to adjourn the meeting until 1 o'clock p: `n-i. 60•Thursday,#Jiine 19, .1.9,75.

<br />Hancock, John E. Dotterer and Gordon A: Wicker were present. Commissioner
<br />Franklin D. Wicker was absent when the meeting opened. The Chairman declared
<br />a quorum present and the meeting open for'the transaction of business:
<br />Chairman Gordon A. Wicker presided and the following business
<br />was transacted:
<br />It was reported to the Board that the removal of the houses on
<br />Hawkins.Avenue had been completed by Mr. Joe Morris and the approval of the
<br />payment.of his bill in the amount of $2, 300. 00, from the LibraryzFund, was
<br />approved, upon motion of Commissioner IDotterer, seconded by, Commissioner
<br />Hancock, which motion was unanimously, adopted, upon a-roll call vote. Messrs. .
<br />Cooper, Hancock,, Dotterer and Gordon Wicker all voted for it. "Commissioner
<br />Dotterer reported that the Friends of the Library had donated their contract to
<br />purchase the Heins property on Hawkins Avenue, to the County: Commissioner'
<br />Dotterer moved that the purchase of the Heins Property for the balance of the
<br />purchase price-of $40','000. 00, be authorized from the Lee County Library
<br />Building Fund, upon delivery of the deed by the grantor. Commissioner Hai L.
<br />Hancock seconded the motion and upon a roll. call vote,' Messrs. Cooper, Dott-
<br />erer, Hancock and Gordon Wicker all voted for it.
<br />Commissioner William H. Cooper moved that the sum of $10, 000
<br />be appropriated from the Unappropriated Surplus in the.Parks and Recreation
<br />Commission Fund to the Parks and Recreation Fund, for the purpose of paying
<br />operating expenses of that Commission. Commissioner Hal L. Hancock seconded
<br />the motion and upon a roll call vote, Messrs. Cooper, Dotterer, Hancock and'
<br />Gordon Wicker all, voted for it..
