LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />JUNE 16, 2014 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North <br />Carolina, convened at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room, First Floor, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were Amy <br />M. Dalrymple, Dr. Ricky D. Frazier, Dr. Andre Knecht, Charles T. Parks, Robert T. Reives, Kirk D. <br />Smith, and James K. Womack. <br />Chairman Parks called the meeting to order and the following business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Dalrymple delivered the invocation. <br />The pledge of allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the Agenda. County Manager John Crumpton <br />asked the Board to add the following items to the Agenda: (1) Revised Incentive Agreement with GKN <br />Driveline, (2) Amendment to the Jail Health Services Agreement with Southern Health Partners, (3) <br />Amendment to the Aramark Food Service Agreement for the Jail and Senior Services, and (4) a <br />Resolution of Support for a City & County Joint Facility Use Agreement for the Sanford Buggy Factory <br />Mr. Crumpton also stated an additional Closed Session would be added to discuss a proposed <br />economic development project. With no other changes made, Commissioner Womack moved to <br />approve the Agenda as amended. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />items: <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Smith moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following <br />• Closed Session Minutes from the March 17 and April 7, 2014 meetings, <br />• Minutes from the May 30, 2014 Budget Work Session, <br />• Minutes from the June 2, 2014 Budget Work Session, <br />• Minutes from the June 2, 2014 Regular Meeting, <br />• Minutes from the June 9, 2014 Joint Interlocal Sub - Committee Meeting, <br />
