Ii4 <br />Commissioner Womack stated it was not the County's responsibly to pay teacher salaries or <br />supplements. He stated the County was giving the school system ample money to fund teachers and it <br />wasn't fair to raise taxes to bear the schools burden. <br />Discussion continued for the entire hour on this one subject. Commissioner Reives stated the <br />current budget puts the County in a deeper hole than we've been in for the past three years. <br />Additional discussion could not take place at this time due to the hour arriving for the scheduled <br />6 p.m. Commissioners meeting. Commissioner Dalrymple moved to adjourn the budget work session. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the work session adjourned <br />at 5:55 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Charles T.
