County Manager John Crumpton stated a public hearing was held <br />during the May 22, 2014 Commissioners meeting in reference to an economic development <br />incentive grant for Project "Spring" which was later named GKN Driveline. The amount of the grant <br />from the County is for $153,900, and is to be used toward creating 105 new jobs at an average <br />annual wage of $38,096, and at least $8,500,000 in new capital, in connection with the company's <br />manufacturing operations in Lee County. In July 2009, Attorney Tron Faulk was awarded <br />the ese services and has been in place since that time. The proposed Contract shall <br />be, and continue through June 30, 2015. A total of $85,000 has been budgeted in <br />the FY 2014 -15 Budget for these services. After discussion, Commissioner Reives moved to <br />approve the Contract for Legal Services Primary Attorney Adult Services, Children's Services, <br />Fraud, Work First, and Medicaid Transportation, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and <br />by this reference made a part hereof.
