BK - 00026 PG <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the Monthly Financial Report for month ending April <br />2014. No action was taken. <br />County Manager John Crumpton presented his Monthly Report for May 2014, a copy of which is <br />attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Mr. Crumpton discussed a 50/50 <br />share with the City of Sanford for a Feasibility Study for the new proposed Park Complex at O.T. Sloan <br />Park in the amount of $15,000. It was stated this item will be discussed at one of the upcoming budget <br />work sessions scheduled by the Board. No action was taken. <br />Commissioner Smith moved to go into Closed Session to consult with the County Attorney to <br />protect the attorney - client privilege per N.C. General Statute §143- 318.11 and to discuss pending <br />litigation that being Calendine vs. Lee County and Others. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted and the Board was in Closed Session. Upon <br />returning from Closed Session, with all members present, the regular meeting resumed. <br />With no other business to come before the Board, Commissioner Dalrymple moved to adjourn <br />the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting adjourned at <br />,,, 4 - Z 1- <br />Charles T.
