BK - 00026 PG The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Finance Director Lisa Minter presented the Monthly Financial Report for month ending April 2014. No action was taken. County Manager John Crumpton presented his Monthly Report for May 2014, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Mr. Crumpton discussed a 50/50 share with the City of Sanford for a Feasibility Study for the new proposed Park Complex at O.T. Sloan Park in the amount of $15,000. It was stated this item will be discussed at one of the upcoming budget work sessions scheduled by the Board. No action was taken. Commissioner Smith moved to go into Closed Session to consult with the County Attorney to protect the attorney - client privilege per N.C. General Statute §143- 318.11 and to discuss pending litigation that being Calendine vs. Lee County and Others. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Parks, Reives, Smith, and Womack Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted and the Board was in Closed Session. Upon returning from Closed Session, with all members present, the regular meeting resumed. With no other business to come before the Board, Commissioner Dalrymple moved to adjourn the meeting.
