A. <br />Information <br />Meeting Date: June 2, 2014 XX Action Item <br />_ Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT Recommendation of the Planning Board for an Amendment to <br />the Official Zoning Map of Lee County <br />DEPARTMENT <br />CONTACT PERSON <br />REQUEST <br />final decision on rezoning request. <br />Sanford /Lee County Planning and Development <br />Althea Thompson, Planner II <br />Consider recommendation of the Planning Board and make <br />SUMMARY Application by Conveyor Technologies of Sanford, Inc. to <br />rezone 1.23 acres of land on Womack Road from Residential Agricultural /MH (RA/MH) district to <br />Light Industrial (LI) district was held during the May 22 meeting of the Board. The subject lot lies <br />west of Womack Road and north of Conveyor Technologies manufacturing facility located at 5313 <br />and 5319 Womack Road. The lot is the same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9645.02, Tax <br />Parcel 9645 -77 -1723, Lee County Land Records. It is also the same as Lot 1 illustrated on a <br />survey map recorded in Plat Cabinet 7, Slide 32H, Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />The Planning Board unanimously voted to recommend the application be approved as presented. <br />BUDGET IMPACT <br />N/A <br />ATTACHMENT(S) 1) Recommendation of the Planning Board with staff report, <br />2) Ordinance to Amend the Official Zoning Map of Lee County, <br />3) Map <br />PUBLIC HEARING No <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION A joint public hearing was held with the Planning Board on <br />May 22, 2014.
