r E 8 ra.u 513 (2) That no one will be appointed to fill a vacancy who has served two consecutive terms in the position. (3) In no event will a person be appointed to serve more than eight consecutive years regardless of the number of terms; provided, however, that service in completing an unexpired term shall be excluded from such limitation. Commissioner Cooper seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Cooper moved that the following persons be appointed to the position indicated for the regular term of office prescribed and until their successors are appointed or qualified: Appointee R. H. Currie Dr. John E. Dotterer Harold Stewart Tom Haislip Joe Thomas Position Trustee, Central Carolina Technical Institute Member, Health Planning Council Member, Sanford Board of Adjustments Member, Lee County Personnel Board Member, Lee County Planning Board Commissioner Hancock seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The roster of the qualified firemen of Northview Rural Fire Department was reviewed and discussed. Commissioner Hancock moved that the list be approved and certified to the North Carolina Flreman's Pension Fund as provided in G. S. 118-23. Commissioner Franklin Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Dotterer moved that James L. Clark be appointed County Tax Supervisor as provided in General Statute 105-294 for a term of two years and until his successor is appointed and qualifies. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The written report of Nathan Crissman was presented to the Board. The written report of the Agricultural Extension Department was presented to the Board. The written report of the Veterans Service Officer was presented to the Board. The written report on the status of the construction for the Wicker Apartment complex was presented to the Board.
