Dresser, Inc. <br />Raleigh, North Carolina <br />Lee Cabinet <br />Sanford, North Carolina <br />9,733. 50 389. 34 10, 122, 84 <br />10, 500. 00 420. 00 10, 920. 00 <br />Floor Finishin <br />Johnson & Norris <br />Sanford, North Carolina <br />Calvin Graham <br />Sanford, North Carolina <br />892.00 892.00 <br />1$050. 00 42.00 1, 092. 00 <br />After consideration of the bids and ldiscussion'with the <br />Architects, it was Resolved to withhold action upon the bids until the meeting <br />of August 4th. <br />Mr. James Pate and Mr. Darrell Mullins of Pate-Mullins and <br />Associates, appeared before the Board and exhibited plans showing the layout of <br />the fences and layout of paving at the Senior Citizens Facility. <br />Representatives of the County Planning Board appeared before <br />the Board and presented and explained a mobile hotne and a mobile home park <br />ordinance. After discussion and review of the ordinance and each section thereof, <br />it was resolved to hold a public hearing at 11:00 o'clock on August 4th, and the <br />Clerk was instructed to see that advertisements were published in the Sanford <br />Herald to this effect. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker moved that the sum of <br />$2, 000. 00 be appropriated from the unappropriated surplus in the General Fund <br />to the Sanitation Fund for the purpose of paying Pate-Mullins for engineering <br />services at the Sanitary Landfill. Commissioner Dotterer seconded the motion <br />and upon a roll call vote, Messrs. Cooper, Dotterer, F. Wicker and G. Wicker <br />all voted for it and no one voted' against it. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker moved that employees of <br />the County who were hired under'the CETA Program were to have the same <br />benefits under the same personnel policies as permanent county employees, <br />except for retirement benefits. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Chairman reminded the Board that there would. be a meeting <br />of the Council of. Government for Region.J at Charlie Brown's Barbecue Pla-e, <br />north of Raleigh, and invited all members of the Board to attend if possible. <br />The Chairman reminded the Board of the annual meeting of the <br />North Carolina Association of County Commissioners to be held in Asheville during <br />the week of July 31 through August Z.
