• ~ r~.~t 520 <br />WHEREAS, JAMES L. CLARK has <br />served the County of Lee as its Tax.Supervisor <br />since September 11, 1961; and <br />WHEREAS, JAMES L. CLARK has <br />discharged his duties in a fair and impartial manner <br />and has applied himself and developed. and acquired a <br />high degree of competence in his position; and <br />WHEREAS, his professional abilities <br />have been recognized by the North Carolina Association <br />of Tax Supervisors, by selecting him as the Outstanding <br />Tax Supervisor of the'Year at its recent convention in <br />Asheville, North Carolina; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br />BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR LEE <br />COUNTY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1) That it extends its congratulations <br />to JAMES L. CLARK for,the honor bestowed upon <br />him by his peers as recognizing and designating him <br />as the Outstanding Tax Supervisor of the Year; <br />.2) That it expresses its appreciation <br />for his capable services and for the professional and <br />competent manner in which he discharges the duties <br />of his office; and <br />3) A copy of this Resolution be furnished <br />to JAMES L. CLARK. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper seconded the motion <br />and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Therebeing no further business to come before the session, <br />it was adjourned, <br />GORDON A.
