E : 8 ~iaM <br />(d) Inducement to violate ordinances or provisions of <br />General Statutes relating to sexual misconduct. No <br />person may induce a licensee or employee or agent <br />thereof to violate this ordinahee or any:;provis on.of <br />the General Statutes of North Carolina, involving <br />sexual misconduct including but not limited to <br />G.,S. 14-177 through -202:1',, (Offenses Against <br />Public Morality and Decen cy), article 26 G. S. ' <br />14-203 through -208 article,27 (Prostitution). <br />(e) Licensee required to supervise. Massage parlor <br />licensees shall supervise the conduct of massagists in <br />their employ. Failure to suppress illegal activity is <br />grounds for 'revocation of a license. <br />. Section 9. Massage parlots subject to <br />inspection. The Sheriff or any member of his department <br />may inspect massage business premises during the hours <br />that they are open for business. <br />Section 10. Revocation. (a) The Sheriff <br />shall revoke the license of any licensee who has violated <br />this ordinance. <br />(b) Such revocation may be made only after <br />written notice of the grounds for revocation has been given <br />to the licensee and he has had an opportunity to answer the <br />charges. <br />Section 11. Violation a Misdemeanor. <br />Violation of this ordinance is punishable by a fine of not <br />more than $50. 00 (fifty dollars) or imprisonment for <br />not more than 30 (thirty) days. <br />Section 12.. Injunctive relief available. <br />This ordinance may be enforced by any appropriate- <br />equitable remedy as authorized by G. S. Section 153A-123. <br />.1 1 <br />Section 13. , Severability. If any section, <br />subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance <br />is for any reason held to be invalid,. such decision shall not <br />affect the remaining portions thereof. <br />Section 14. . This ordinance shall take effect <br />on the 1st day of September, 1975. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />r Commissioner Hal L. Hancock recommended to the Board <br />that in addition to the $75, 000. 00 previously budgeted for the purchase of a <br />bulldozer, that an additional $10 to !$15, 000. 00 be made available and the <br />County purchase a bulldozer the size of a caterpillar D-7.. This matter was <br />discussed extensively but no action was taken. <br />Commissioner Hal L. Hancock reported that the rural fire <br />departments needed to purchase protective clothing for the members of their <br />department in order to comply with OSHA requirements. Commissioner Hancock <br />reported that it would cost approximately $125. 00 per person to outfit the <br />members. The matter was discussed but no action was taken at this meeting. <br />8 <br />
