Superintend'e4 Kenneth Brinson appeared before the Board and urged that the Board take steps to .enlarge the proposed sed'Armory'to', accommodate basketball games for the area schools and to provide spectator space for approxi- mat:ely 3, 000 persons. Mr. Brinson said the position of the Board of Education was that if the facility could not be enlarged in such a manrier that•they did not care to have it situated between the High School and Central Carolina Technical Institute.
