BK - 00026 PG <br />LE E COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />TOWN HALL MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />DEEP RIVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />DEEP RIVER ROAD <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />APRIL 22, 2014 <br />The Town Hall meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State <br />of North Carolina, convened at 7 p.m. at the Deep River Elementary School, Deep River Road, <br />Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were Amy M. Dalrymple, Kirk D. Smith, <br />and James K. Womack. Staff present included County Manager John Crumpton, Assistant County <br />Manager /Finance Director Lisa Minter, Legal Clerk Kerry Schmid, MPA Student Michael James, and <br />Clerk to the Board Gaynell Lee. <br />Vice - Chairman Smith welcomed everyone and opened the meeting with a power -point <br />presentation giving an overview of County finances, new businesses in the County, School Resource <br />Officer program, strategic plan for economic growth, space study for Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), <br />revenues, expenditures, property tax decrease, real property revaluation, sales tax distribution, and <br />debt reduction and bond rating. <br />Mr. Tony Ragan, 4507 Lower River Road asked why Deep River did not get anything <br />(recreation) in the Deep River area. <br />Vice - Chairman Smith thanked everyone for attending the Town Hall meeting. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. <br />irk 1b.
