The owner or operator of a mobile home park shall not sell more <br />than one mobile home at a time within a mobile home park <br />unless such mobile homes are placed individually and separately <br />upon existing mobile home spaces where all design standards and <br />utilities have been completed as specified by, this ordinance. <br />Section B - Streets and Parking. - 1 <br />1. Convenient access to each mobile home space shall be provided by <br />streets having a minimum right-of-way of forty (40) feet, of which <br />a minimum of twenty (20) feet shall be graded, drained, and sur- <br />faced, for automobile circulation within the park. Surfacing may be <br />either a base course and surface treatment meeting the minimum <br />pavement design standards of the North Carolina Secondary Roads <br />Council, or a soil type or stone aggregate course having a minimum <br />thickness of six (6) inches. All such surfacing shall meet the <br />standards and specifications of the North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation as set forth in the DOT "Standard Specifications <br />for Roads and Structures". Maximum grades of roads shall be six <br />(6) percent. Maintenance of such streets shall be provided by <br />the owner or operator of the park. <br />2. Entrances to mobile home parks shall have direct connections to <br />a public street and shall be designed to allow free movement of <br />traffic. No parking shall be permitted on the entrance street <br />for a distance of one hundred (100) feet from its intersection <br />with the surfaced portion of the public street. <br />3. Permanent dead end streets or culs-de-sac shall.not exceed one <br />thousand (1,000) feet in length and shall be provided with a <br />turn-around of at least sixty (60) feet in diameter. <br />4. Streets or drives within the mobile home park shall intersect as <br />nearly as possible at right angles, and no street shall intersect <br />at less than sixty (60) degrees. Where a street intersects a <br />public street or road, the design standards of the North Carolina <br />State Highway Commission shall apply. <br />5. New street names shall not duplicate or be similar to existing <br />street names in the coizzity and shall be subject to approval- by <br />the county planning board. <br />6.
