ACA A&L r K,~K WHEREAS, The North Carolina Clean Water Bond Act of •1971 has authorized the making of grants to aid eligible units of governmeiit in financing the cost of construction of wastewater treatment work's.,, wastewater collection systems, and water supply systems, and water supply systems, and WHEREAS, Lee County has need for and intends to construct a (state whether a wastewater treatment works, wastewater collection system, or water supply system) project described-as the Clawson Williams Industrial Park Water Project,, and WHEREAS, Lee County intends to request State grant assistance for the project, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY That Lee County will arrange financing for all remaining costs of the project, if approved fora State grant award, That Lee County will require the City of Sanford to adopt and place into effect on or before. completion of the project a schedule of fees and charges which will provide adequate funds for proper operation, maintenance and administration of the system, That Lee County will require the City of Sanford to provide for efficient operation and maintenance of the project on completion of construction thereof. That Gordon A. Wicker, Chairman, and successors so titled, is hereby authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of Lee County with the State of North Carolina fora grant to aid in the construction of the project described above, y That Gordon A. Wicker, Chairman, and successors so titled, is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the appropriate State agency may request in connection with such application or the project; to make the assurances as contained above; and to execute such other docu- ments as may be required in connection with the application, That Lee County has substantially complied or will substantially comply with all Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances applicable to the project and to Federal and State grants and loans pertain- ing thereto; and hereby authorized the above designated representative to execute an affidavit so stating. , Coirunissioner Franklin D.
