<br />NOW THERE'FORE,:BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
<br />COMMISSIONERS OF LEE-COUNTY that the Lee County budget now
<br />
<br />indicate the-addition of 'Six Hundred Forty Seven Thousand, Two'-Hundred
<br />Twenty Five Dollars ($647, 225. 00) for the fiscal year ending.June _30i
<br />1976. .
<br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote,
<br />Messrs. Cooper, Dotterer, Hancock, Franklin D,. Wicker and Gordon A. Wicker all
<br />- voted for it, and no one voted against it.
<br />Director-Elwin Buchanan appeared before the-Board concerning the
<br />amendment of the Bounty Budget to include Title XX Matching: Funds. Commissioner
<br />.Hal L. Hancock moved the adoption of the following resolution:
<br />WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY has
<br />determined it to be to the best interest-of the citizens of Lee. County to
<br />- develop two (2) projects known as Survey and Referral, Rehabilitation and
<br />Emergency Repairs Material Purchase Fund, through the matching of
<br />Title;XX funds and Community Development funds;, and
<br />WHEREAS, the BOARD' OF COMMISSIONERS. OF LEE COUNTY amends
<br />their budgetto include Sixty Nine Thousand and Eighty Four Dollars
<br />.($69, 084. 00) as matching funds-.from the Social Services Division of the North
<br />Carolina Department'of Human' Resources and the..Social SecuritylAct known
<br />as Title XX; and :
<br />WHEREAS,` Lee,County, througH its.Community Development Depart-
<br />ment, will use the-Sixty'Nine Thousand and Eighty Four Dollars ,($69, 084. 00)
<br />as matching funds to Twenty Three. Thousand and Twenty Eight Dollars
<br />($23,,028. 00) of Community Development funds to develop the following pro-
<br />grams:.

<br />Rehabilitation Contract With
<br />Triangle Housing,Development ,

<br />Cooper, which motion was unanimou.sly'adopted,'cthe 'Community Development
<br />invoices were approved for payment,
<br />t Mr. Hugh Brev✓er-appeared,before the Board and was, granted permission
<br />to use the front end loader from, the County Laridfi'll at the.Library site on Hawkins
<br />Avenue.
