H. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: April 7, 2014 XX Action Item <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT Acceptance of Additional Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) <br />Funding Allocation for 2013/2014 Budget <br />DEPARTMENT Department of Youth & Family Services - Restitution Program <br />CONTACT PERSON Brenda B. Potts <br />REQUEST To utilize $2,334 of additional State funding for the Juvenile Crime <br />Prevention Council allocation, for Restitution expenses <br />SUMMARY At the February 24, 2014 meeting of the Juvenile Crime Prevention <br />Council, the Board voted to reallocate the remaining funds ($8,100) <br />from the 2013/2014 state allocation. They voted to allocate $2,334 <br />of this balance to the Restitution Program. This allocation can be <br />used to replace broken lawn equipment, rakes, etc. Any equipment <br />purchased with the additional funds will be passed on to the group <br />that operates the Restitution Program next year. <br />BUDGET IMPACT No additional match required as the 30% match for the initial <br />allocation has already been met <br />ATTACHMENT(S) JCPC Program Agreement <br />PUBLIC HEARING No <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION Approve additional funding from the State, in the amount of $2,334, <br />to be used for Restitution expenses <br />
