0 <br />8001 8 r 1vf 709 <br />Mr. Buchanan presented a proposal from Williams and Works, Inc., <br />for grant assistance in the preparation of the 1977-78 Community Development <br />Application. Williams and Works, Inc., proposed to provide grant assistance <br />for a sum not to exceed $3,000.00. Upon receipt of an invitation to file <br />a formal application with H.U.D., Williams and Works, Inc., proposed to charge <br />$1,500.00 for additional professional services. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper made a motion seconded by Commissioner <br />Hal Hancock to accept the proposal as presented by Williams and Works, Inc. <br />Commissioners Cooper, Hancock and Gordon Wicker voted for it and no one voted <br />against it. <br />Commissioner Hal L. Hancock moved that the Community Development budget <br />be amended to increase revenues in the amount of $2,500.00 to be derived from <br />$1,250.00 from the Town of Broadway and $1,250.00 from the County of Lee and <br />increase expenditures to Neighborhood Center in the Community Development budget <br />in the amount of $2,500.00. Commissioner Cooper seconded the motion and upon <br />a roll call vote, Messers Cooper, Hancock and Gordon Wicker all voted for it. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Hancock, <br />the Chairman was authorized to advertise for sheriff's vehicles. Bids to be <br />openddcand considered at 10:00 o'clock a. m., November 1, 1976. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
