0 0 <br />Boor 8 708 <br />MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA <br />Thursday, October 21, 1976 <br />The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for Lee <br />County, North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners Room on the second floor <br />of the County Office Building in Sanford, North Carolina, at two o'clock on <br />Thursday, October 21, 1976, in accordance with the motion of adjournment. <br />Commissioners William H. Cooper, Hal L. Hancock and Gordon A. Wicker <br />were present. Commissioners John E. Dotterer and Franklin D. Wicker were <br />absent. Chairman Gordon A. Wicker presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Mr. Elwin J. Buchanan, Community Development Coordinator, appeared <br />before the Board to present an agreement from Williams & Works, Inc., for <br />professional services for the 1976-77 Community Development Project as follows: <br />ITEM TOTAL AMOUNT <br />A. Basic Services <br />1. Preliminary Phase $ 4,500.00 <br />2. Final Design Phase and <br />Construction Administration 7,800.00 <br />Total Basic Services $12,300.00 <br />ESTIMATED FEES <br />B. Additional Services <br />1. Preliminary Field Surveys $ 1,500.00 <br />2. Construction Staking 1,000.00 <br />3. Resident Inspection* 2,500.00 <br />Total Additional Services 5,000.00 <br />Total $17,300.00 <br />'Includes: <br />Weekly Report of Daily Hours <br />Work closely with City and County to make them <br />aware of problems that develop on job. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper moved that the Chairman be authorized to <br />sign the contract with Williams and Works, Inc. Commissioner Hal Hancock seconded <br />the motion and upon a roll call vote, Commissioners Cooper, Hancock and Gordon <br />Wicker all voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />
