soon 8 ME A <br />1 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY <br />CONCERNING THE AMENDMENT TO COUNTY BUDGET TO INCLUDE 1976- <br />77 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GRANT FUNDS. <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY have <br />determined it to be to the best interest of the citizens of Lee <br />County and has filed a formal application with the Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to fund several activities <br />planned in the Community Development Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />(HUD) approved the application with budgeted activities in the <br />amount of Two Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Dollars ($232,000.00); and <br />WHEREAS, Lee County through its Community Development <br />Department, will spend the Two Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Dollars <br />($232,000.00) for the below listed activities: <br />1. Concentrated rehabilitation in the <br />Grapevineyard target area, to include <br />housing rehabilitation grants to home- <br />owners and renters, acquisition and <br />demolition, relocation, water lines, <br />sewer lines, street improvement, sur- <br />veying and management. 140,255 <br />2. Construct a water line to connect the <br />concentrated rehabilitation area of the <br />Grapevinevard to the city of Sanford's <br />water main. 19,800 <br />3. Construct a sewer line to connect the <br />concentrated rehabilitation area of the <br />Grapevineyard to the City of Sanford's <br />lift station. 8,345 <br />4. Improve streets in Lyons Bottom by <br />paving and realignment and grading <br />where necessary. 33,000 <br />5. Acquisition and demolition of dilap- <br />idated units in Lyons Bottom. 5,000 <br />6. Construction of approximately 400' <br />of water line in Lyons Bottom. 2,500 <br />7. Relocation payments to families <br />displaced because of demolition or <br />substantial rehabilitation in Lvons- <br />Bottom. 18,100 <br />8.
