H "Cooper Mental Health - <br />-Armory <br />Maintenance Building <br />Ambulance Service <br />Chairman Cooper announced-that the Board would receive the sum <br />of $19,354.00 in Anti- Recession•Funds and.the Board should determine the purpose <br />for which said funds 'will .be used. Commissioner Rhyne moved that the'money be <br />used to maintain the. present level'of services.. Comm'issioner,Gordon A. Wicker <br />seconded the mot ion,and upon a vote the motion was unanimously adopted, <br />Chairman. Cooper-arniounced,that a later. resolution amending the <br />budget. and alloting'and appropriating the money to various activities would be <br />necessary: ' <br />Commissioner Cooper announced that the County-would receive <br />$22430006 00 in Revenue Sharing Funds,' Commissioner Franklin D.. Wicker : <br />moved-that the budget be. amended-to reflect receipt of funds in.the amount of. <br />$224,000, OO.from Revenue Sharing and that, said funds be appropriated to a <br />Library Capital Reserve. Fund. Commissioner Dotterer seconded the motion <br />and upon .a vote, Messrs. Dotter er,'-Rhyne,_.F.' Wicker, G. Wicker and Cooper <br />all voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker reported to the Board on a meeting-ol <br />the Courthouse. Committee, - <br />Mr. 'John Scott, Wake County. Planner,' and Mr. Clarence Wilson; <br />appeared before the, Board'.and discussed the use of soil survey maps. <br />The Board next held a public hearing on the closing of Woodlawn <br />Drive and Canterbury"Lane,.as,shown on a'map of 'Oakwood Acres Subdivison,' <br />as recorded-in Book.6,..page 27, Lee County Registry. No• one appeared in <br />opposition to' the closing. of said road'and Mr. J. Allen Harrington,: Attorney <br />for Mr.,'Royce A. Hall;` appeared on behalf of those seeking to close said road. - <br />The public hearing was declared. closed. Commissioner-Dotterer moved the <br />' adoption of an Order..closing.the road.
