S. 20-138 and G. S. <br />20-139.. <br />Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne seconded the motion, and upon a vote it was unanimously - <br />adopted. <br />The letter of Mr. W. Ames Christopher, CETA Administrator, <br />Raleigh CETA Consortium, outlining the composition of the Advisory Council was read <br />to the Board. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that Mr."john-D. Pegram and <br />Dr. Julian W. Shields be appointed to serve on the Raleigh CETA Consortium <br />Advisory Council along with Mr. Robert Mooneyham and Commissioner Franklin D. <br />Wicker and that,the travel and meal expense *of such members be reimbursed by the <br />County. Commissioner John E.. Dotterer 'seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner John E..Dotterer, seconded by . <br />Commissioner Gordon A.- Wicker, it was unanimously resolved to appoint Mr,s. <br />Patrigia Smith as an alternate member of.the Region.J Emergency. Medical Services <br />Board. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the following transfers.' <br />be made within the budget for the Department of Social Services: :Transfer <br />the amount of $59, 000:00 from AFDC to. Special Assistance for Adults and Transfer <br />$1, 000. 00 from Title IV-D funds to General Assistance. Commissioner Franklin D. <br />Wicker seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, Messrs.. Dotterer, Rhyne, <br />F. Wicker, G. Wicker and Cooper," all voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne moved the,_adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. 'BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, <br />AS-FOLLOWS: i 3 t a <br />(1) To transfer within the budget for the Community <br />Development Fund, the sum of $6,'500.00,. fromsunappropriated,,,.,., <br />surplus to Code 20-490-07;,.Expenditure9-' Neighborhood"Center, <br />to place the funds received from the Town of Broadway in the' <br />proper line item;•,and , <br />(2) To appropriate to the Community Development Fund <br />'budget Code 20-:490-03, Expenditure - Title XXi the sum of <br />$1, 702. 00, from the funds appropriated for Social Services,' <br />to-cover expenditures on rehabilitation in November prior to the <br />effective' date of the Title.XX Rehabilitation Program: <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a- roll <br />:call vote, -the Commissioners voted as follows: <br />AYE: Dotterer, Rhyne, F. Wicker, G. Wicker, Cooper <br />NAY: None <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved the adoption of the following: <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />OF LEE COUNTY.: CONCERNING THE NORTHVIEW- <br />WALKER SEWER LINES <br />WHEREAS,'the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR LEE, <br />COUNTY has, determined it to be to the best interest.oLthe citizens <br />of Lee County to construct two (2). sanitary sewer collection lines <br />
