The letter of Mr. W. Arne s,:Christopher, Administrator of CETA to-Chairman Cooper, dated March 17, 1977, was read to the Board. The letter stated that Mr. Jon Moore would handle the expansion of Title VI program and would workout of the County Finance Office, The letter of.Mr., Jerry Grimes, of the Department of Insurance, Fire and Rescue-Service. Division, to Chairman Cooper,.was read to the Board, Mr. Grimes reported to the Chairman that the Cape Fear,'Fire Department and the proposed fire department in the Carolina Trace area had submitted a request which would have overlapping areas of jurisdiction: , Mr. Grimes advised that the Insurance Department would table each request until the fire departments could agree on a mutual line of division between their districts. _ The letter of Mr.'.Boyce Cox, Chairman of the County.. Planning Board, Was read to the Board:': This letter proposed that subdivision regulations would be submitted to the Commissioners and that a public hearing on the adoption of such regulations would be held•onlVlay 2,-1-97,7. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker moved and Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion that a public hearing be scheduled for May 2,. 1977, on the proposed subdivision regulations.. The letter of Ms.' Sheila D. .Blakely, Regional Coordinator, of the North Carolina Council on the status of women, was read to the Board. The Board authorized the Chairman to invite Ms. Blakeley ,to,appear before the Board. -There being no further business to come before the-session, it was adjourned, sine die.'
