<br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners:
<br />herein called, -the "Applicant'' has thoroughly,'consider'ed the problem
<br />addressed in the subgrant application entitled: "Lee County Matrons and-
<br />h as reviewed' the project"de scribed'in•the.application; and
<br />WHEREAS, under the terms of Public "Law 9M51 ; .as amended,
<br />:the. United'States of America has authorized the;Law'Enforcement Assist- -
<br />ance Administration, through the North: -Carolina Law and Order Section to
<br />',rriake,federdl grants to,assist local governments in the improvement of the
<br />criminal justice. system,
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE.LEE COUNTY.
