BOOK 8 PA!:F797 <br />Meeting times and places will be determined by the Citizens- <br />Advisory Board. At least one meeting shall be held in <br />each Community Development area. <br />5. NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS-AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS. <br />The County invites any civic group to submit proposals <br />for Community Development funding or to express what <br />they feel are the County's Housing and Community Development <br />needs. Further, the County encourages formation of neighborhood <br />organizations in Community Development areas to examine <br />the needs of their neighborhood, express those needs to <br />the County, and work with the County in improving their <br />neighborhoods. <br />Technical assistance for such groups is available from the <br />Community Development staff to help them understand Community <br />Development. <br />6. PUBLIC INFORMATION. <br />The goal of this policy is to improve communication between <br />the County and its citizens regarding Community Development. <br />All meetings and public hearings shall be open to the news <br />media. The news media is encouraged to cover all aspects <br />of the Community Development Program. <br />
