Wicker moved the <br />adoption of the-following resolution <br />WHEREAS, the BOARD.OF,COMMISSIONERS <br />OF LEE COUNTY have determined it to be to the best interest of <br />the citizens 'of-Lee Countyto :request an'additional grant from the• <br />Economic. Development Administration (EDA), to assist in the <br />completion of the.San-L6e Recreation and Educational Park; and <br />WHEREAS,'. the additional grant would 'assist in <br />the acquisition of approximately forth (40) acres of land necessary ' <br />for Lee County'to•control"all lake frontage in the park area and <br />to-,cover the•extra,construction costs caused bythe harsh winter <br />weather conditions;. and <br />WHEREAS,: Lee County has applied to the Economic <br />Development Administration (EDA) for'an additional overrun grant <br />in the amount of One Hundred Twenty Three Thousand Six Hundred <br />Dollars, '(123,'600. 00) for the acquisition of the land and to cover the, <br />construction costs overrun; and <br />
