I EE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE FOR A <br />LCID LANDFILL OF LESS THAN TWO (2) ACRES TO <br />MICHAEL W. BARBOUR, JOHNNY B. KNIGHT AND <br />NORTHWEST POCKET LCID, LLC <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County as follows: <br />ARTICLE ONE. Grant of Franchise <br />The County of Lee, one of the counties of the State of North Carolina, <br />hereinafter referred to as Grantor, hereby grants to Michael W. Barbour, Johnny <br />B. Knight and Northwest Pocket LCID, LLC hereinafter collectively referred to as <br />the Grantees a franchise and right to develop, operate and maintain one (1) <br />landfill of less than two (2) acres in size for the land disposal of land clearing <br />• waste and inert debris at a site in Pocket Township in Lee County. <br />ARTICLE TWO. Terms and Conditions <br />.The location of the site of the landfill, the term of the franchise, and the <br />conditions of this franchise are as set forth in the document entitled "Franchise <br />Agreement" by and between the Grantor and Grantee, dated <br />, 2009, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br />COUNTY OF LEE <br />BY <br />ATTEST: <br />Gaynell M.
