016 <br />LEE COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE <br />® Notice is hereby given that the Lee County Board of Commissioners and Planning Board will hold joint public <br />hearings on Monday, July 20, 2009 in the Commissioners' Board Room at the Lee County Government Center <br />106 Hillcrest Drivc Sanford NC The Boards will consider two (2) applications to amend the Official Zoning <br />Map of Lee County, NC. The hearings will begin at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as deemed practical by the <br />Board. <br />Upon conclusion of the joint public hearings, the Lee County Board of Adjustment will hold a separate public <br />hearing in the Gordon Wicker Conference Room of the Lee County Government Center to consider an <br />application for a Special Use Permit. All applications are described below: <br />Applications to Amend the Official Zoning Map of Lee County <br />1. Application by Jerry Adkins to rezone approximately .49± acres of land at 2912 Jefferson Davis <br />Highway from Residential Agricultural (RA) district to Highway Commercial (HC) district. The <br />property is the same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9630.01, Tax Parcel 9630-17-8382, Lee <br />County Land Records. The property is also all of Lots 32-35 of the "Knott Property Subdivision" <br />recorded in Plat Cabinet 2, Slide 399, Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />2. Application by Randall Godfrey to rezone .93-acres of land at 2915 Tramway Road from <br />Residential Agricultural (RA) district to Highway Commercial (HC) district. The property is the <br />same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9631.04, Tax Parcel 9631-74-8303, Lee County Land <br />Records. The property is also the same as Lot 2 on a survey recorded in Plat Cabinet 9, Slide 26C, <br />Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />Application for a Special Use Permit request <br />® 1. Application by Lori Frear for a Special Use Permit to allow an accessory building on a parcel <br />without a principal use or structure pursuant to Article 5.1, Subsection 5.1.2.2 of the Unified <br />Development Ordinance. The property is located north of 1231 Cletus Hall Road, Sanford, NC <br />and is the same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9676, Tax Parcel 9676-91-2796, Lee County <br />Land Records. The property is also the same as Lot 3 on a survey recorded in Plat Cabinet 10, <br />Slide 45F, Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />The public is cordially invited to attend.
