Bridwell, r11U' <br />Director <br />July 2, 2009 <br />• <br />0 <br />Dear Adjacent Property Owner: <br />The Zoning Ordinance of Lee County, North Carolina requires that adjacent property owners be <br />notified when a request for a change in zoning classification (rezoning) has been scheduled for <br />public hearing before the Lee County Board of Commissioners' and Planning Board. <br />Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners and Planning Board will hold joint public <br />hearings on Monday, July 20, 2009 iii the Commissioners' Board Room at the Lee Count <br />Government Center. 106 Hillcrest Drive. Sanford NC The Boards will consider two applications <br />to amend the Official Zoning Map of Lee County, NC. The hearings will begin at 6:00 p.m. or as <br />soon thereafter as deemed practical by the Board. The applications are described below: <br />1. Application by Jerry Adkins to rezone approximately .49± acres of land at 2912 <br />Jefferson Davis Highway from Residential Agricultural (RA) district to Highway <br />Commercial (HC) district. The property is the same as depicted on Lee County Tax <br />Map 9630.01, Tax Parcel 9630-17-8382, Lee County Land Records. The property is <br />also all of Lots 32-35 of the "Knott Property Subdivision" recorded in Plat Cabinet 2, <br />Slide 399, Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />2. Application by Randall Godfrey to rezone .93-acres of land at 2915 Tramway Road <br />from Residential Agricultural (RA) district to Highway Commercial (HC) district. The <br />property is the same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9631.04, Tax Parcel 9631-74- <br />8303, Lee County Land Records. The property is also the same as Lot 2 on a survey <br />recorded in Plat Cabinet 9, Slide 26C, Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />The public is cordially invited to attend. Further information may be obtained from the <br />Sanford/Lee County Community Development Department, 900 Woodland Avenue, Sanford, NC <br />27330 or by calling (919) 718-4656.
