The following signed up to speak and were allowed three minutes: <br />• Rebekah Guinn, 233 Chris Cole Road, Sanford <br />• Katherine Guinn, 233 Chris Cole Road, Sanford <br />• Keith Clark, 233 Chris Cole Road, Sanford <br />Ms. Alice Beardslee from The Sanford Woman's Club completed the required paperwork to <br />appear before the Board and present a check in the amount of $3,635.00 to the County for the tinting of <br />windows at the Lee County Courthouse to protect an oil painting that was relocated during the <br />construction of the new Courthouse. The painting in question, Kinfolf of Virginia Dare, was originally <br />located in the Sanford Post Office and later moved to the Lee County Courthouse. Commissioner <br />Paschal moved to accept the donation of $3,635.00 from The Sanford Woman's Club for tinting of <br />windows to preserve the Kinfolf of Virginia Dare painting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Hayes, Kelly, Oldham, Paschal, Reives, and Shook <br />Nay: None <br />• The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />
