North Carolina Mutual Aid Agreement - Summary <br />Direct supervision of all personnel and equiment and; <br />• . Providing adequate communications equipment among own personnel, <br />Maintaining daily personnel time records, material records and log of equipment hours; <br />Reporting on work progress regularly; <br />Pay its own employees as usual (will be reimbursed by requesting City); and <br />Maintain records and submit invoices for reimbursement. <br />The providing city's employees are covered at all times by the providers workers' comp policy <br />All activities performed under this agreement are declared government functions. <br />Each party holds the other harmless from liability. <br />The basic time for assistance is seven days, but this can be modified when parties agree. <br />The Division of Emergency Management will be responsible for the following: <br />Keep executed agreements; <br />Maintain current listing of those participating, and contact information <br />Provide this listing and contact information to all participants annually; <br />Co-ordinate requests for assistance according to the terms of this agreement; <br />Keep records of aid requests and responses; <br />r, f, , <br />UO1 <br />Report when appropriate on status of mutual aid provision; and <br />• If requestor and provider ask, be the agency to request reimbursment from FEMA. <br />This agreement, once executed, lasts for at least one year, and for subsequent years, unless terminated by a 60-day <br />notice. <br />• <br />http://149.168.212.15./MUTAID/Summary.htrn (2 of 2) [3/6/2009 10:11:13 AM] <br />
