B. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: March 2, 2009 XX Action Item <br />-Consent Agenda <br />• <br />SUBJECT: Appointment to the Sandhills Mental Health Board <br />DEPARTMENT: Governing Body <br />CONTACT PERSON: Richard Hayes, Chairman <br />Commissioner Linda Shook, Member Sandhills Mental Health Board <br />REQUEST: Consider Appointment to the Above Referenced Board <br />SUMMARY: At the February 16, 2009 meeting, Commissioner Shook referenced <br />a vacancy on the Sandhills Mental Health Board. Staff has been <br />notified that Ms. Doris Holland from Sanford has tendered her <br />resignation on said board. One application has been received in <br />reference to the vacancy.
