NC 27331-1968
R> : Lee County Courthouse
Dear Manager Crumpton:
A few weeks ago; Rick Hager, notified me that the Lee County Commissioners had established
an advisory board to study future space requests for the Lee County Courthouse. He also
advised me that he had some proposals regarding parking areas and Courtroom #3. I advised
him at that time that based upon his proposals for Courtroom #3, that I was opposed to the
proposals to change Courtroom #3. As to the proposals for parking areas, I told Mr. Hager that I
would want to see a map of some kind showing what the changes would be.
At the Lee County Bar meeting 1/30/09, Mr. [lager had a copy of a proposal with regard to
parking and discussed briefly his proposed changes to Courtroom 93 and other areas of the
courthouse. I have received additional proposals from Mr. I-lager which L disagree with.
1 request that I be made a part of any discussion concerning any changes to the Lee County
Courthouse and ask that no action be taken until I can be involved in the process. Your
consideration of this request would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Alber
Chief
AAC/ldW
Copy to: Honorable Franklin F.
