030 <br />V. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />None <br />VI. DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />Mr. Payne discussed the July department report of activities. He spoke of the <br />Dog Park plans and upgrades done at Horton Park. San-Lee Park had <br />improvements added through Eagle Scout projects, plus projects completed <br />through Operational Services. Improvements planned for Dalrymple Park <br />included $21,750 offered from Greenway Development for use of upgrades. John <br />suggested applying for a PARTF grant in January with these funds being used as <br />local match. Application for PARTF grant funding would be subject to approval <br />by the Board of Commissioners. <br />A motion was made by Mark Kline at 6:25 after discussion concerning <br />cancelling the September meeting unless there was a pressing matter. James <br />Emerson seconded the motion and all were in favor. <br />Mr. Payne told members he would gather information concerning the police <br />reports at O.T. Sloan Park to have at the next meeting to be held on October 28. <br />VII.
