Wicker and
Cooper all voted for it and no one voted against it.
The Clerk reported on the meeting with the contractor to perform
mapping services for the County and reported that the Committee recommended
the contract be amended to require a performance bond in the amount of the
work authorized and that the penalty provision be reduced to $5.00 per map sheet
per day and further advised the Board a future modification would have to be made
to have the numbering system installed which meets the guide lines established
by the Department of Revenue. Such changes were authorized and approved
upon motion of Commissioner Dotterer, duly seconded by Commissioner Franklin
D. Wicker, which motion was unanimously adopted.
The Chairman advised the Board that Mr. Jack Dossenbach had
resigned from the County Personnel Board and that a vacancy existed for the period
until June 30, 1980. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker nominated Commissioner
John E. Dotterer for this position. Commissioner Clyde J. Rhyne moved that
the nominations be closed and that Commissioner Dotterer be elected to this
position by acclamation. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion
and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted; with Commissioner Dotterer abstaining.
The Chairman declared that Commissioner Dotterer had been duly appointed to
the Personnel Board for a term expiring on June 30, 1980.
There being rio further business to come before the session, it was
adjourned, sine die.
